The thousand kilometers of the INT allow us to discover the varied ecosystems of the country. The usual thing is to start in the north to gradually introduce ourselves, after traveling along the coastline, into the desert environments of the south and the Negev desert. Another stretch of about fifty kilometers in which you are able to feel firsthand the immensity of the Negev, the proximity of the border with Jordan (the Wadi Rum was always in sight on the horizon) and also, additionally the perfect signage of the route, as well as the containers that there are every few kilometers to deposit garbage and other services offered by the INT.

Orange for the desert, blue for the ocean and white for the northern area. If the orange stripe is the highest or the one at the top, this will indicate that you are walking south.

Hikers on the space typically spend between thirty and forty days completing it. Trailblazers can conquer the Israel National Trail at their own pace. Ultramarathon runner Michael Wardian famously shattered the record in 2019 with an impressive time of 10 days and 16 hours.
